Mavericks: Video window vanishes when exiting from fullscreen

1. Float on top
2. enter native fullscreen
3. exit native fullscreen --> video window vanishes.

Only happens with native fullscreen and only on Mavericks.

It is reported that this is also an issue when minimizing to dock.
