SRT subtitles with multiple segments separated by space not displaying properly
I was directed here to create a new bug for this, as per the forums, also some details there for context.
https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=113837
An SRT subtitles file with more than one segment, separated by a space, will display during playback with the space removed. Ex, from an actual subtitle file:
968
00:59:00,737 --> 00:59:04,606
- I, um, I was wondering.
- ♪ Just remember, darling all the while ♪
There will be no space displayed between "darling" and "all".
Tested with default settings, which I pretty much run, I don't fiddle with VLC settings much anyway. Only tested on the Windows version.
Although there is no legitimate need to do this in an actual SRT file, it does sometimes happen when it is edited by poorly written software.
