DVD with Disney's "Fast Play" technology does not play

Dear VLC Team,

I love VLC ability to read many kinds of strange formats. However, I tried recently to read a DVD of the Pixar animated film called "Brave" ("Rebelle" in French). And this didn't work.

My guess is that Disney's "Fast Play" technology "enhancing" this DVD is not recognized by VLC (see http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/fastplay/faq.html or http://expedientmeans.com/2007/12/11/disneys-dvd-fast-play-technology-isnt-fast/ or even http://boingboing.net/2010/02/19/disneys-fast-play-is.html and http://voices.yahoo.com/disney-fast-play-frustration-2960216.html for more).

By the way, I also tried using Microsoft Windows 8 Media Player, without success. Only an Apple MacBook movie reader was able to open it (I don't know its name, unfortunately, but I can research if you need it).

This is probably a bug in libdvdnav, not VLC...

Thanks Courmisch. But what should we do then? Who is working on libdvdnav? Latest bug reports on Source Forge dates back from 2006 (http://sourceforge.net/p/dvd/bugs/)... Thanks in advance.

Another info: DVDs with menus in Disney's Fast Play format can be read using DivX Plus Player... Hope it helps!
