Bring VLC window to foreground on new video start (Windows)

Hi,

I'm using Win7 and when I first invoke VLC player (by clicking on some video file), the window is shown in foreground as it should be... now when I want to invoke another video with VLC already running the window is not brought into foreground .. I have to click on it's taskbar "icon".

this is quite annoying and probably a small thing to fix.

The same problem exists for audio files... The problem is between the single instance playlist injection and the UI.

This is still not working at least in Windows 7, and is very annoying! When i'm consecutive opening many different short video-clips from holidays using the Windows Explorer or a 3rd-party software, I've to click each time a new video clip starts at VLC's taskbar button to bring it to the foreground again.

As said, the problem is not when VLC-Player starts for the 1st file. Just when VLC is already opened and in the background of e.g. Windows explorer. In this case VLC doesn't switch to foreground again when clicking at another videofile in the Windows-explorer.

Btw: this is not a problem with Windows 7, cause Windows media player is using this useful feature!

We recently added a way for the window to be activated upon media change, however bringing the window to front won't happen:

And in no way would we modify our users' registry to work around a Windows design decision.
