Mozilla plugin should not take over from QuickTime

I have seen it as well. content that built in quicktime handels perfectly is handled by the VLC plugin all of a sudden, which is considerably less stable. It's a bit annoying.

unfortunately FireFox/Safari chooses plugins by mime types/extension, if multiple plugins supports the same mime type, then the browser choses. as far as I know there is no way to indicate a score/order for a mime-type against a plugin. I have removed the Quicktime mime type from the mozilla plugin on MacOS X

I have found that currently firefox plugin preference order can be specified the most recent being the one preferred. Therefore you can simply "touch" the preferred plugin (quicktime) to make sure firefox prefers it. Safari, well, I don't know.
