VLC uses the wrong audio device
After updating to version 2.0.1 VLC uses the incorrect audio device and ignores any manual changes to the output device. Versions as recent as 2.0.0 still work correctly.
I've 3 audio devices: onboard sound, rca speakers, and a usb headset; VLC always uses the onboard device. The speakers are set as my default device in Windows. Manually changing the "Output Device"/"Select Audio Device" options under the Audio->Output modules header doesn't do anything.
The problem persists after reinstalling VLC, deleting preferences & cache, and a computer restart. This problem is specific to VLC; I can play the same media files on other players (i.e. Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, and GOM Player) using the correct audio device.
