TSCC codec playback problem in AVI

I have a collection of lectures that I get from my school. It is recordered by Camtasia Studio ( by TechSmith ) and uses the TSCC codec.

The audio plays fine, but the problem is, that the video is always stuck on the first frame. It's like this on all the videos using this codec. I first notice this problem on VLC version 1.1.8 and it's still an issue with the newest version (2.0.1).

There is no error, only the first frame is frozen, audio works perfectly.

The 2 track pts are borked.

Video has 1sec delay. Audio has samplerate delay.

3 years later... I had forgotten about this issue. But with a lot of versions between now and since I last tested this, I decided to test this now. The current VLS version (2.2.1) does play this video/codec correctly. I think it's safe to say that this issue got fixed somewhere along the way :)
