Description

Hi, clicking on via your site downloaded vlc-2.0.0-win32 malfunctions: 'unable to elevate, error 184' Therewith VLC cannot be installed on PC, fails permanently.

Please advise how I can use VLC again, I've tried everything.......

Right click on the installer executable and select "Run as administrator".

I'm having the same problem and only in Windows Vista. Screen attached.

Why the setup program doesn't ask for admin rights on startup?
