No problem, how sensitive would you like them to be?
How is this value currently measured? It seems to skip forward 1 minute at a time for me, so perhaps 25 seconds would be acceptable?
10second skip every 100ms ? every 200ms?
In fear of screwing up VLC for everyone, I don't know if I should be the one to answer. But does 10 second skip every 200ms translate into 2x speed?
Actually, we are sending one ACTIONID_JUMP_FORWARD_SHORT every 12 ms, right now.
And this is a perfectly acceptable value IMO so, I'm not sure this needs to be changed for 2.0.1. Could there be any other VLC setting that may have the effects on the short FF/RWD reported in the forums?
macosx: slow down the forward/backward buttons a bit (close [#6135](https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/issues/6135))continous button action skips 1 minute within 5 secs now, which matches iTunesnote that iTunes gets faster if you press the button longer, which is something we might want to do as well
