Windows GDI Crashes When Changing Videos
Hi.
I'm a software developer. I'm running Windows XP Professional SP3.
I've configured VLC Media Player to use Windows GDI as I have two monitors. I watch movies on the left monitor (Windows GDI) and play games on the right monitor (DirectX).
Every time a new video is played (play list or from Windows Explorer), VLC pauses.
NB! VLC freezes even if not using a DirectX application. It does freeze every time, but freezes around every one to three times a video changes.
I can make a video showing how my VLC Player crashes. I have the latest version of VLC Media Player 1.1.9 and the latest NVIDIA drivers.
Please e-mail be on bradsmithsite@gmail.com if you want a video or pictures of how VLC Media Player crashes.
It's extremely annoying as when a series/movie progresses to the next video, I have to exit my game, use Task Manager to terminate VLC Media Player, then find and reopen what I was watching.
