VLC hangs whenever arrow keys pressed
OS: WIndows 7 Ultimate VLC Version: 1.1.3 (and 1.1.4, and 1.2.0) System: LG FX-series laptop, Intel Core2 CPU, Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset display adapter
Problem: Whenever I hit any arrow key in VLC, the program hangs - although it continues to play, it is otherwise frozen and Windows says it's "not responding". This includes trying to navigate through DVD menus and using Ctrl + Arrow to skip forward/backward (neither of which works). This happens with anything I try to play - avi files or DVDs (only files I have to test). I have tried installing 1.1.4 and 1.2.0 but the exact same problem persists. I have also deleted the config folder, as well as doing a complete uninstall and then reinstalling. I have also checked the hotkeys in Preferences, and the arrow keys don't seem to be mapped to anything other than navigation. This doesn't happen when I use version 1.0.5.
Logfile: I can't get vlc to produce a log or a crashdump because it doesn't crash, it just hangs.
