Add RTMP output support
This has been requested many times in the forums, with most topics going as far back as 2008:

According to this forum post by j-b, it was planned for 1.2 but this never was confirmed.
Also mentioned was the changes between 0.8.6i and 0.9.0 where "RTMP Output" was listed. It has also been suggested elsewhere that its in the nightlies, but seems that it was broken or removed.
This is also mentioned in an email where a developer seems to be working on it, dated June 30 2010
And, this appears in a 2 year old commit.
Additionally, in the Wiki there is a page saying that RTMP is not supported.
This has been a requested feature for 3 years but there seems to be no or only failed work on this. Many users, including myself, would love this feature in a powerful media player like VLC to replace crazy toolchains with FME. But are just told that it doesn't exist, vs "Were looking into it". Rémi Denis-Courmont even said for the OP to hire somebody else to do it, which was disheartening.
Is this ever going to be a feature of VLC?
