Split-archive rar not working with old naming standard
Today, I built VLC from git, and tested the split-archive rar playback.
It works fine with the new style naming standard (.part01.rar, .part02.rar, ...), but with the older style (.rar, .r00, ...), VLC stops playback after the first part because it doesn't seem to find anything in the second part, and keeps on scanning through the rest of the files.
Attached, there are two files containing the console output (-vvv) from the two cases.
-
The first file (rar-not_working.txt) is when I play an .avi-file packed in a split-archive with the old naming standard (rar a -m0 -v5000k -vn test1 test.avi).
-
The second file (rar-working.txt) is the same .avi-file in a split-archive created with the new naming standard (rar a -m0 -v5000k test2 test.avi).
