Installing vlc 3.0.12 on Windows 10 will delete %appdata%/vlc folder's content

Hi, I upgraded vlc from 3.0.3 to 3.0.12 and now I've to setup it again because it wiped my %appdata%/vlc folder's content, that's annoying and nosense.

If you are worry about compatibility copy %appdata%/vlc folder to %appdata%/vlc/old folder or check only if %appdata%/vlc/vlcrc file exist before to delete everything.

Now I've to waste my time remembring all my settings, I hope that's a bug and not a feature. This bug could be on other platform too, I don't know.

Are you sure you did not have the option to clear the settings and cache selected in the installer?
