iTunes VLC document list showing files that don't appear on VLC ipad video/audio pages
When using iTunes to load video files to the VLC player on an ipad there can be occasions when the file is shown to be loaded and installed (the list on the iTunes VLC Documents list) but does not appear anywhere on the VLC Player menu.
The files can be .avi, .ts, or .mp3 & mp4, and over time many files appear as ghost entries on the VLC Document list, not appearing on the VLC player Video or audio list, but eventually consuming Gbytes of memory.
This has continues to occur having deleted the app and starting afresh earlier in September with the last iOS 13.7 update, for work reasons I can't install iOS14, however this issue has occurred with VLC Player/iTunes since at least iOS11.
Can there be a method to display all consumed video files, valid or not, so that they can be deleted if there is a failed download from iTunes (eg if the cable is disconnected) or the file is corrupted?
