I cannot play the .264 format file from my security camera using VLC media player. I have followed the instructions on the settings for DeMuxers and set it to 'H264 video demuxer' I have used previous versions and latest VLC 3.0.8 Vetinari.
I suspect it is a problem with iegeek's .264 file format which may be proprietary. Or is it a VLC bug?
Thanks.

Hi there, having the same issue on a mac and do not know how to run a PowerShell here on my mac. I saw on one of your links François that someone made a fix, but that is in linux.
So I have hundreds of files that are incorrect, I assume in framerate.
Is there a way of batch converting them to something useable?
For rev engineering purposes, if you have access to hardware, can you try making few different recordings with different parameters (resolution, ...) and name files accordingly ?
So after a while of trying to deal with this, I have found an easy solution, although it is not perfect. I have found these products work to decode the scrambled frame speed.
