AOMedia's AV1 Video Not Supported

Hello Everyone

The last stable version 3.0.4 can read the AV1 stream video.
But i've encoded a video with ffmpeg in AV1 with the default Codec "libaom-av1".(it's always a experimental, unfortunately....) In VLC, when i try to read this video, i have an error message "Codec not supported: VLC could not decode the format "av01" (AOMedia's AV1 Video)"

I can confirm that AV1 decode doesn't work on windows, but on linux it is working.\ VLC 3.0.4 windows/linux.

ticket:20325 was wontfixed in April because "AV1 is not finished. People sharing AV1 files are insane." Youtube is insane?

Hi, I have the same problem. Please add support for it!

Now you can play AV1 in 3.0.11/windows 3.0.11.1/linux 3.3.0/android.\ There is problem when using playback speed higher than 1.00x,\ it can freeze frame or problems with seeking.

My bad, I've forgot to add the version. I have 3.0.11.1/linux and it does show the message in the original post.

Make sure that you have dav1d package installed.

I have dav1d 0.5.2.

Try dav1d 0.7.1 version.

I have upgraded dav1d to 0.7.1, but there is no change.

Tried vlc 3.0.12?

It's not available for my distro yet, I'll try it when it is and I'll let you know.
