M3U filename cannot contain bracket characters
Found an interesting regression with 3.0.0-rc8 on Win64.
m3u and m3u8 playlists can't play the audio files they refer to if the playlist filename itself contains the "[", "]" characters. eg:
"Some playlist [ trance ].m3u"
This also happens if the path to the playlist file contains those characters. eg:
C:\Music [trance]\Some playlist.m3u
When dragging and dropping the playlist into VLC (either the Media Library or main Playlist area) the containing files are displayed ok.
When VLC attempted to play them however, it throws the error message "Your input can't be opened" for all files in the playlist.
The messages window displays:
filesystem error: cannot open file <file_name_here> (No such file or directory)
After renaming the playlist or directory path to remove the "[", "]" characters, the playlist loads and plays without issue.
Note - Haven't tried other playlist types, only tried with m3u and m3u8. The others may be affected as well.
Found this when trying out 3.0.0-rc8 with my playlist library from 2.2.8. Lots of renaming was required. Guessing this'll be a release blocker for 3.0.0, as it's pretty clearly a regression. ;)
