Can't delete cached files used with Remote Playback on AppleTV

There's no way to manually delete the files that are cached when using Remote Playback (upload via web) in VLC.

The information line says the AppleTV can/will delete these at any time when VLC isn't running, but even rebooting or force killing VLC didn't make them go away. I had to actually delete VLC and re-download it, because there wasn't enough space to download another show.

I should be able to manually delete them (which also signifies to me that I have watched it), as well as the tvOS deleting them itself.

You can easily delete files in VLC-tvOS just like you would delete the app from springboard. Just click and hold a file you want to remove until it wiggles and press the play-button to delete. There will be a confirmation dialog asking if you really want to do that.

I'll try that, but I do think it would be useful if there were a notice on the screen. I really didn't expect that UI to work here.. Plus, Edit buttons and then Select All might be useful too, to easily delete everything.

But this is useful info! (Other apps that have files/pictures/etc. have a specific Edit mode that makes it clear I can delete files.)

Or heck, even asking me when I'm at/near the end of the recording if I want to delete it (like Tivo/other DVRs do).
