live555 gets stuck inside connect()

When trying to open an RTSP connection with an unresponding server IP address, live555 gets stuck in a blocking connect() call, within the Open() callback of the live555 access_demux.

This can probably not be fixed without ditching live555 altogether.

Works fine here.

This cannot be fixed. It is a limitation of live555.

As said, can't be fixed. The only solution is to get rid of live555 and write our own RTSP access_demux.
