Streaming from HTTPS webdav using self-signed/user certificate

Trying to stream movies from a secure Webdav share on Synology nas using self-signed certificates is not working and has not done so during the period that I've tried (which is for the last one and a half year now). It working fine from other apps like MX Player. Same issue on both iOS and Android but this report is based on the Android 2.0.2 version.

Description I first get a popup that warns me about "Insecure site". I click "View certificate" and then "Accept permanently". After that I come back to the "Insecure site" popup and I can click between these popups a number of times. They will never go away but after a 3-4 of times I can see that the movie starts streaming in the background. At this point if I click outside the popup for a number of times the popups finally go away and I can watch the movie. If I stop the movie I need to redo the whole procedure.

Not sure in which versionbthis fix is included in but I just tested 2.0.4 and even if it's slightly better there are still two major problems:

1. The Insecure site message still pops up 5 Times during connection. Everything time I click View Certificate and Accept permanently.

2. The movie then plays but if I fast forward or stop/play the popup loop is back. Meaning that my selection is not saved.

The fix for this ticket is not included in 2.0.4. It'll be included in 2.0.5
