No VLC version, no operating system version, no details about the used hardware or played content.

Problem->Video Codec Google/On2's VP9 video (VP90) lags on VLC whereas not in Google Chrome.

     So,provide a proper codec algo. to run videos smoothly.

32bits or 64bits VLC?

VLC->2.2.1 64bits

Use 32bits.

Nope nothing changed after running video in 32bit version.

It's not that its happening to my PC.It happens on every other PC aw well.
