Video Freeze on Linux when dragging between monitors
On Linux systems (Testing on Ubuntu Utopic - with X11, on at least LXDE and Cinnamon DEs), if VLC is playing a video and the video window is dragged between screens, the video freezes while the audio continues. The UI becomes unresponsive, and VLC needs to be force-quit to exit.
The freeze only occurs if the cursor is dragged across the screen boundary: if the window is moved partially onto the other screen, the mouse button is released and moved to that other screen, and the window is then dragged the rest of the way onto that screen, it will not freeze. It also freezes up if VLC is in playlist mode (presumably because the thumbnail is still playing).
