iOS: Black preview in mini-player

3. Open iOS control center,notification center or multi-tasking

4. Black preview in mini-player

Best is no stopping the video playback in mini-player mode, by open iOS control center,notification center or multi-tasking. Only stopping by switch to other app or click on home button.

Without audio playback in background.

Come in mini-player preview by open iOS control center,notification center or multi-tasking. 1-5 seconds black,grey, or many artifact preview.

This is expected. The artefacts are not avoidable.

(Technical background info: when the app is moved to the background which includes activating control center, video decoding is radically stopped, so it restarts whenever you go back to the app which is almost never when there is a key frame in your video so there is distortion. The duration of the artefacts depends on the key frame interval set when encoding the respective files.)

Really what is by nPlayer the trick? The has mini-player. No problem.

For playback mode same problem. My video-file is normal mp4 1280x720p.

I test without audio playback in background in playback mode.

Infuse has not the function playback in background. I can not test.

I think the new function create thumbnail for the last playback position, is the cause. It stop for 1 second by open iOS control center,notification center or multi-tasking the playback picture. Results -> playback/mini-player mode black preview and in media-library new thumbnail for the video (here is it). New thumbnail is only available by stop the playback or?

Can you disable this functions by open iOS control center,notification center or multi-tasking?
