Runtime Error
I would first of all like to state that this is an error that has only been submitted to you once and was last replied to more then 3 weeks ago
The issue is when you highlight multiple videos and then attempt to play them with VLC it displays the following message:
(This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information)
The more videos you highlight and attempt to play the more pop-ups you get - but it seems to have a limit of around 10 errors, if you click okay on the error it will then display VLC has stopped working - i'm sure you know what that looks like on windows.
there are multiple posts about this error on the internet:
https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=78396 http://forums.techguy.org/multimedia/934987-vlc-runtime-problem.html
Now i don't mean to sound rude but if someone has to go back to version 1.0.5 to get more then 1 video to play something is very wrong
Additional Information:
-
The files i attempt to play are all .mp4's
-
The errors only pop up a certain number of times before stopping
-
When the errors occurs the video will appear in a pop out window and the sound will still play but you won't be able to control anything since the error prevents you from controlling anything
-
You can bypass the issue by opening up VLC and then adding files to it by navigating to their location
-
The videos i am playing are music videos
I LOVE VLC media Player but i always open my videos and music by navigating to my files highlighting them and then playing them not by opening the media player and navigating to the files and for most novice users this might lead them to believe VLC is broken or unusable i hope you understand why i set the priority to high
Thanks for making VLC media player it's amazing!
PS: What in gods name are the following options
