Video crop issue
The manual cropping feature have always been a pain to get working in vlc.
I've been a user of vlc for years, and would consider my self an advanced user, and i still have issues getting it to work.
Currently you have to specify width height left offset and top offset. Im not even quite sure why this is the used values or precisely what they mean.
A user friendly aproach, like for example ffmpeg does, is to simply let the user subtract pixels from top, right, bottom or left.
Manual crop is often used to remove a few pixels on 1 or 2 sides of the video, so this would definately be the easiest way to let a user crop (from the users point of view)
So an option letting you crop x nubmer of pixels from either of the 4 "sides" of the video woudl be great.
Ideal it could be some sort of GUI widget that let you visual add/subtract pixels on each "side".
The main thing for me thoug,h is thats its easy to crop a few pixels on a random side of the video (which today is close to impossible)
