Command line options --start-time --stop-time are not evaluated
I wanted to cut a scene from a video.
After trying some hours, this command has worked: "C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" input.ts --start-time=15 --stop-time=20 :sout="#transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=4096,acodec=mp2a,ab=192,scale=1,channels=2,deinterlace,audio-sync}:std{access=file, mux=ts,dst=output.ts}"
The start and stop parameter have no effect if
- you delete the transcode section
- add -Idummy
- add vlc://quit
I would call such side effects unexpected behavior.
