turning on visualisation goom with enabled extended gui crashes

Description

Tested on vlc-0.8.6-rc1-win32-18332. Playing an audio sample, turning on extended gui and setting brightness and contrast then turning on Goom Visualisation will crash in libadjust_plugin.dll (debug shows libgoom_plugin.dll): 

Program received signal SIGILL, Illegal instruction.

Maybe related to an input problem since turning on extended gui after Goom is active gives in debug: 

main error: Input not found

Did you try using Goom with no GUI at all? I would love this to be a WxWidget? so it could go to the Wx bugs milestone, but somehow, I doubt it.
