Crash with sub-titles active (MacOS X 10.5.6) (MPEG4 Timed Text)
I am currently testing the nightly 'vlc-git-intel-20090407-0011' on MacOS X 10.5.6 on a MacBook Pro (late 2008) and I am experiencing a crash which seems like it might be related to the subtitles. I can't reproduce it all the time, but I can 50% of the time. Typically I see a crashed thread containing the following:
Thread 21 Crashed:
0 libquartztext_plugin.dylib 0x0410033a RenderYUVA + 1642
1 libquartztext_plugin.dylib 0x0410088f RenderHtml + 943
2 libvlccore.2.dylib 0x001225c7 spu_RenderSubpictures + 1767
3 libvlccore.2.dylib 0x0011fc57 vout_RenderPicture + 1767
4 libvlccore.2.dylib 0x0011bc4d RunThread + 1965
5 libSystem.B.dylib 0x95db0095 _pthread_start + 321
6 libSystem.B.dylib 0x95daff52 thread_start + 34
I have the default video output module selected, larger fonts and Arial Black as subtitle options. I then start playing the video and select the subtitle track. Either by letting the video play through or adjusting the time position, I end up seeing the crash.
I can't test this issue in a previous version of VLC, since the test MPEG4 file I am using uses a 'timed text' tag which is not supported until the 1.0.0 base.
