Hotkeys snaps back after changed

Description

I run the latest Ubuntu Hardy nightly at 03/07-2008.

I change some hotkeys (Navigate Up/Down, Very Short Jump Right/Left) and set them to "Unset" or clear the field entirely. When I restart VLC, the keys have snapped back to what they were before I changed them. If I change them to another key combination, the change is still there after restarting vlc.
