The maximum sound volume is still 200%, even if only 125% or 300% is displayed
VLC's maximum sound volume is still 200% even if it is changed in VLC'S options. I have VLC 2.2.0-rc2 on Debian 64-bit.
Preferences->All->Interface->Main Interface->Qt->Maximum Volume Displayed
If the maximum displayed volume is smaller than 200%, it is still possible to increase the sound to 200% using the mouse wheel.
If the maximum displayed volume is bigger than 200%, it is not possible to increase the sound bigger than 200%. VLC won't be able to display it.
Examples:
1- If the max displayed sound volume is 125%, I can increase the sound to be louder than that. Although I won't be able to see it, I will be able to hear it.
2- If the max displayed sound volume is 300%, if I increase it to the maximum that I can using the mouse wheel, it will go up to 200% and won't go higher.
The "maximum displayed sound volume" option should be replaced with something like a real maximum sound volume.
