Subtitles in the wrong order in a ts/dvb-t stream

Reported by: darkstone Assigned to: hartman
Priority: high Milestone: 0.9.0 bugs
Component: Subtitles Version: master
Severity: major Keywords: subtitles dvb wrong order
Cc: xtophe Platform(s): Win32
Difficulty: unknown Work status: Not started

Description

I am using the latest nightly build: (trunk-20071229-0000/ 29-Dec-2007 00:32) from http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/?C=M;O=D

The problem appears when viewing any ts file which is viewed live/captured from a dvb-t source. The subtitles appear in reverse order, for example, the last line at the top and the first line at the bottom.

I have uploaded a screenshot and sample ts file to my server.

Sample TS file: http://gamesquare.co.uk/(2007-12-29%2018-04)%20BBC%20ONE%20Scot.ts

Another problem which appears is that whenever I change any options in the preferences menu, they revert back to the default settings when the program is closed and loaded again.

Thank you for your time!

I have tried the latest stable release of vlc (0.8.6) which the error does not appear.
